In February 1996 we began publishing Inside East Sacramento as a newsmagazine specifically serving the East Sacramento neighborhood and community. The editorial content focused exclusively on East Sacramento and most advertisers were located within East Sacramento.   During the next few years Inside East Sacramento attracted advertisers outside the immediate neighborhood--businesses who were eager to reach the demographic profile of the typical East Sacramento resident.

In February of 1998 we began publishing Inside the City, designed with a similar format to Inside East Sacramento, but with a city-wide editorial content and a much larger distribution to city homes and newsstands.

Rather than combining the two publications into one, we kept advertising available separately in Inside East Sacramento and Inside the City in the event that a business only has the need or the financial resources to reach one market or the other. In February of 2001 we began publishing Inside Arden, designed in a similar format but catering to the Arden community of Sacramento.

When an ad is purchased in Inside the City the advertiser needs to understand that they will not be reaching potential customers in East Sacramento or Arden. Advertisers need to purchase ads in all three publications to reach our entire circulation.
